Equine Photographers Network Fall Photo Shoot October 23-26, 2008 Members of EPNet have been invited by Clark Farms to come photograph at their ranch in beautiful south Central Pennsylvania. We will have complete access to the ranch with morning and evening shoots featuring horse drives, cattle drives, creek crossings, cowboys, light rodeo and more. This workshop is geared towards photographers seeking to shoot western lifestyle type imagery, with releases available from all the shoots. This will be a fun and low key weekend for us to get together and photograph in relaxed and beautiful surroundings, catch up with old friends and make new ones. Attending photographers may opt to take a guided trail ride on one of the farm’s horses for an additional fee. We will have access to one of the ranch houses as our base and all meals will be provided. The bedrooms in the house are now all spoken for, we will maintain a waiting list. Additional lodging is available in Breezewood, Pa, approximately 20 minutes from the farm. Clark Farms is a fifth generation family farm located in the mountains of Fulton County Pennsylvania. They breed registered Foundation Bred American Quarter Horses, registered Red and Black Angus Cattle and commercial cow/calf pairs. The Quarter Horses are used for the cattle operation and all are descendents of the Old Cow Bred Foundation Sires, King, Old Sorrel, Leo, and Three Bars with the modern lines of Doc Bar, Docs Hickory, Dry Doc, Mr. San Peppy and Peppy San Badger. Many of these foundation Quarter Horses in the herd are dun, Palomino, buckskin, grulla in color. There are approximately 100 Quarter Horses in the Clark Farms herds. Clark Farms is also the base for the Pennsylvania Youth Rodeo. Plan to arrive on Thursday evening for a welcome dinner and stay until Sunday for three days of shooting, learning, new friends and new experiences! All meals as well as snacks and drinks are included in your registration fee. Hustontown, Pa is approximately 70 miles west of Harrisburg, 40 miles North of Hagerstown, Md. Nearby Breezewood is at the junction of Highways 70 and 76. Ramada Inn – 814-735-4005
