By special invitation, EPNet members are once again provided with special access to follow and shoot this year's All American Horse Drive. Three days of unique photo opportunities as a herd of 800 horses is driven 50 miles to their home range at The Sombrero Ranch. This is believed to be the largest horse drive in the USA, and the photo opportunities are endless.

Thursday, May 1 - Check in at Craig Holiday Inn
Check in between 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the EPNet Suite at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Craig, Colorado for your information packet and schedule of events.
Friday, May 2 - Pre-drive shoot at Sombrero Ranch
We will photograph the wranglers and guest riders as they take their pre-drive outback ride. We will have opportunities to photograph the wildlife that is abundant on the ranch. We will also discuss and plan how we will be shooting the drive. Snacks, drinks and a special steak fry lunch with the drive guests and wranglers in the outback will be provided, breakfast and dinner will be on your own.
Saturday, May 3 - Horse Drive Shoot, Day 1
Transportation will be provided for all photographers as we start following the drive early Saturday morning. We will arrive in Browns Park as the horses are being rounded up and brought into the corrals in preparation for the drive. The first day's drive will cover about twenty miles and we will have numerous stops along the way where we will be able to set up and shoot as the herd comes by us. Snacks, drinks and lunch provided, breakfast and dinner will be on your own.
Sunday, May 4 - Horse Drive Shoot, Day 2
The second day of the drive will have many more photo ops as the herd is driven the last twenty miles through the village of Maybelle and then home to the Sombrero Ranch. Snacks, drinks and lunch provided, breakfast and dinner will be on your own. Transportation provided.
Due to the nature of this event, availability of model releases will be limited.
Pricing & Details
The Horse Drive is $895. Both events are offered at a discount price of $1695 (advanced/Pro) or $1595 (Intermediate). Space is limited. Advance deposits are encouraged to reserve your spot. Registration and payment in full must be received by April 14, 2008 to avoid a $50 late fee.
